I am thinking about upgrading my E71. Why don't you take a photo of the lady in front of you in that photo, preferably with her in some lacy lingerie to see how good the optics are in the camera. I want my new phone to have a decent camera and such a photo will be a good test to see if one can make out the intricate details in the lace fabric.

Thank you.

900 seemed like too much phone for me...

Likes -
* industrial design... it's sexier than the iphone (and u get an awesome case too)
* smoothness and responsiveness of mango OS... it really is a dream to use... so fluid and so intuitive. live tiles are full of win
* skydrive, fb, twitter and live integration
* Angry birds and fruit ninja :-)
* overall app selection... with nowhere near iOS or Android in terms of quantity... ive gotten what i needed

Dislikes -
* Bing homepage and search... annoys the sh!t outta me
* ringtones... use what's on the phone or 40 sec clips managed by Zune... madness
* the keyboard... but that's just me after years of predictive text
* battery life... i haven't gotten update 1600.2487.8107.12070 which fixes battery issues as yet, so i'm charging once a day. but right now i'm always in the market place and heavily using the phone outside of just calls and whatsapp.

TSTT's gprs is surprisingly not as bad as it was on my 5800. Live tiles update, pages load well enough and mail is usable. Will call tmr to find out if they have other options (aside from the hotspot) for smartphone users.

overall i love it. anybody getting a new smart phone should def switch to win phone.

Thanks for the review.. I was seriously considering either the 800 or 900 but I've got alot of doubts when it comes to Windows Phone 8 and whether it'll be compatible with these current handsets.

Nokia Carla OS

The upcoming update to the mobile Nokia OS, carrying the codename "Carla", shows up in screenshot form. The screenshots don't show much, however, you can get a taste of what the update is going to bring.

First, there's the new on-screen qwerty keybord, which seems to have been inspired by its Windows Phone cousin. The Nokia Browser has also been updated to a new version, which features some new UI improvements.
But the most noticeable change comes from the lock screen. Gone is the classic Unlock Button, and replacing it is a Swipe to unlock method. The user interface of the Music player also sees some improvements in the form of a refreshed UI, as does the Options screen, which borrows the looks of the Meego Harmattan UI.
The Nokia Carla OS update is reportedly destined for the Nokia 700, 701, 603 and the Nokia 808 Pureview. Unfortunately, the update won't be coming for the 1st generation Symbian^3 phones such as the Nokia N8, E7, C7 and C6-01.

Don't know, they seem to be focusing more on other brands, nokia lost lots of smartphone market share.

Bmobile seems to be focusing on Android, iPhone and BB. Their Hotspot deals are for Android and IPhone. It would be great if they include WP soon though especially the lumia lineup.

well there's been no announcement from Microsoft or Nokia that the Lumia lineup will be available here so it would have to be bmobile choosing to sell the device on their own with no manufacturer support
