Correct! And the MAF sensor as well.
I don't think it's advisable to swap your e-throttle with a normal throttle since the eninge would have different specifications to match that throttle it came with.
If it's to be done...you will need to make other changes etc...gas pedal would need to be adjusted since they can either be eletric or cable.
In some applications like the Nissan Tiida, the Electronic CVT works hand in hand with the E-Throttle engine; (don't know if mitsubishi has this design) but you see where I am going?? You can't just take out an e-throttle and replace it with a normal just like that!

Engine - 4G92 Local
Problem - Need to keep foot on the gas pedal when starting to get it warmed up.
I was advised that the Idle Sensor needed changing. Got advice about possible replacements and tried them but none worked. Only the one from the 4G18 gave promise but then it continually kept rising and wouldn't stop. Got another local 4g92 sensor and still not working. So that's 4 different sensors ( not types ... just pieces ) tested and nothing works.
I was also advised that the brainbox was blown and thats why the sensor not working. Also was told that the crank sensor may need changing.
Can anyone advise on what the problem may be and how to fix it please? I am really annoyed now trying to sort this problem out.
