do you recommend sideloading apps, because some of my favorite apps form OS 7 not working as it should on the Z10

i was trying to wait for native apps or search for an alternative rather than sideloading

Sideloading is easy and useful and it doesn't require you to "hack/jailbreak/root" your phone, it's actually how pretty much every BB10 developer tests apps on their devices so you don't have to worry about any negatives other than the app itself not working on BB10 (not all android apps can run).

Which app is giving you problems?

thescore - not receive notifications
twitter - not receiving notification also (i usually used BB7 social feeds so i can get both facebook and twitter notifictions)

those are the main two which i have been searching for alternate app without success

Well I don't use the score app so i don't know about that one. The hub replaces social feeds since you get everything there. In my experience notifications are timely for Facebook and Twitter.

from my research the hub only receives direct messages and mentions from twitter and friend request and messages from facebook where as the social feeds gave you tweets, bb updates RSs feeds etc

I think (aka i assume) they are waiting for the headless app API to be released for BB10 so apps can better perform functions in the background when they are not running.

how long does your z10 battery last?
also, is anyone experiencing any inconsistency problems with the bmobile 4g network on their z10? There are times when I open the browser and it takes long to load and the 4g signs goes off and on (when its off, its displays the E symbol). Should I visit tstt?

My dad got a Z10 from bmobile and his 4G was dropping. turns out his data services account was misconfigured, he went in to them and they changed something and he's getting regular 4G service now.

Something worth looking into

I visited bmobile regarding the 4G connectivity problem. The CSR reset the package through the system and restarted the phone. In addition to this, the CSR sent an email to the respective person who deals with the Blackberry 4G network informing him of my issue. The CSR also indicated she is experiencing inconsistency with the 4G network on her personnel phone.

The CSR at the information desk stated that 4G is not available all over and it is expected to drop at times. Now if this statement is in fact true, I find this unacceptable as we are paying full package price for a inconsistent service.

At the bmobile branch I spent 30mins after the phone restarted (watching UCL semis) and the 4G service was functional. I will report any further inconsistencies if encountered.
