There has been no change. The Regulations have simply been extended.

why we can't depend on 'natural immunity' too much - too much vulnerable will die or end up hospitalized, children will get MIS-C etc.

data breach? I thought it was "major" inconsistencies in the data that prevented the rollout.

The inconsistencies I am guessing is ppl getting multiple "first doses" and the MoH refusing to adjust the stats

no community spread of more contagious variants before march 2021. i remember xmas 2020 into february we were having like only 10-15 cases a day and maybe a death every 10 days. that original wuhan strain had a hard time spreading easily especially with masks and other measures implemented.

Based on human behavioral models, the expectation is that successive waves of omicron COVID Infection and death will occur about every six months or so. For many countries, the magnitude of infections and deaths is expected to mimic that of the second omicron wave that the particular country experienced.

So my dad was sick for 3 days and tested positive with an at home test today. He had spent 2 days with my mom and I last long weekend and got sick the day after. I left my oximeter with him to check hs oxygen levels regularly.

Only found out he was sick last night after he asked a neighbor for soup yesterday and the neighbor called my aunt who called us.

Hope so to. He never took the vaccine and he's 75. He went to the doctor and all his vitals are OK. Did another test there which was positive as well. No comorbidities as far as I know. Though his age alone is a risk. Doc gave him some antibiotic as he has sore throat as well some expectorant.

I guess I should do a test as well.

The 5-11 vaccine roll out still stuck under 1% uptake?

Glad to see people ignoring the advice of the pro-vaxx or die shithongs on this chat.

Trini's actually have some sense ... will you look at that.
