i'm going with the sigma 18-200mm lens, so I'm interested in the body only. Futureshop rocks though 8-)

HUTRINI, my bad...clicked the wrong one on amazon just now. The price for XTI above includes the 18-55mm lens XTI body is $529 there, so on amazon itself, a difference of $270

Yeah no scn...
Day's passing by, it's becoming harder and harder to hold back from the inevitable in a few months

Always add like a $150 more to whatever camera yuh buying eh. Because you'll need certain accessories with whichever one you choose. Extra battery, bigger mem card, and a bag. Some say a bag not important yet, but after bussing pocket to buy a camera, you'd want to protect it.

...Wise words there. Often over looked.

look a xsi vs. xti review http://crave.cnet.com/8301-1_105-9857232-1.html

only review I found that tells me about noise levels
It does say that the Digic III processor in the Rebel XSi, along with the high-ISO noise reduction inherited from the high-end EOS 1D Mark III and large microlenses over each pixel, should make for lower noise at higher ISOs when compared with previous Rebels. We'll have to wait and see once we get a review sample, though we were quite impressed with the noise profile of the 1D Mark III.

Constructive criticism is welcome, I know I have alot to learn when coming to photography . Camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ8, shots were taken at 5mp.
