agreed

People in Trinidad & Tobago IMHO are of the opinion that serving people is a menial job and in many cases there is an level of inferiority cast by the customers.

x100

WRT to the fast food industry

there are those who come with the attitude that it is a menial job and professionalism (for those that understand this concept) is not required

and i've seen those that came with positive attitudes belittled in a matter of minutes by customers

another thing i noticed is that we are a society that seems to laud this behavior... too many times i've seen some cnut insult a frontline employee and everyone after jumps on the bandwagon, simply disgusting

personally i always try to be polite (despite my current mood after all we all have sh1tty days right?) and surprisingly there are times where you notice a change in attitude as if to empathize "yeah i also have alot of aholes to deal with on a daily basis"

but say what this ideal is hard for many to understand... just take a look at this board :?

Last time i went there it was about 6AM on a Sunday, my friend and I were looking for food, we though since storebay was a big tourist spot they would at least have some breakfast, we pulled up there only to see everywhere were closed. I asked the security guard "What time will these shops here open?" she replied "Me eh no na." lol and when I was walking off she said "Ah cyah stan allyuh white trinis na" I just laughed and got back in the car. Apart from that one time everything in Tobago was sweet.

Boy at the end of the day it's really just people individually being stupid. I stop bothering about it now cause all it does is raise your presure or make you behave stipid to counteract their stupidity which is a loss in the first place...
