Fallen Angel... In addition to the DLC (data link connector) located under the steering column, there is another DLC located in the engine bay. Some BJs are not equipped with the connector inside the compartment.
However, the DLC in the engine bay is not like the generic OBD2 (16 pin) connector shown in the pictures above, it is a 17pin connector that is only available in Mazdas.
