Measure yours First , I feel it will be 720 but i went 280c on my older model 1600 , It was 2 inches wider on each side , i feeling 720 will be exact lenght as the galant beacuse is same lenght and a box lancer , for use a 4:1 ratio diff , some 720's come 4:6 and some come 4.1

well i rite now we have 1.5" spacers on each side to bring out the rims
well ill look at 2 diffs how can i make it 4 hole tho?
think ill want the 4:1
but what kind of ratio the 4:6 gives?
what about the 280c ratio?

280c is usually 4.1, DONT go 4.6 on a rb , trust me , unless you into drifting.

to know the 4.6 check for 2 things,
1. The diff housing is Aluminum , scrape it and see if you see silver,
2. Then check the around the lip where the bolts go and look for 2 Half Moon or two Thick C looking things , if theres none is a 4.6, if where the driveshaft bolts has a square flange its a 4.9

The 4.1s and 3.9.s have the 2 Half Moon or C like looking things , 280 ones has a steel housing and is much more heavy.

^^^ to calculate the ratio is quite simple you just divide the amount of teeth on the crown wheel by the amount of teeth on the pinion.
Have you considered using a hilux diff? They are the same 'G'series diff as in the supras (just there're not independant) and come in alot of different ratios i've seen from 3.9 to 6.67.
Do you guys know any one who can change the diff bearings and adjust the backlash?

ok fellaz man get ah d22 frontier diff free
its lsd and also get extra lsd guts
but the thing is the crown wheel runnin 35 teeth and the pinion has 9 teeth so thats a 3.9 ratio

dont know if that is any good for an rb tho

Good, i'm so scared now last time i saw a diff scrapped like that i ended up changing three complete 'pumkins' because the guy could not set it up correctly.
Is there any one in TRINIDAD that can set up a diff correctly?
3.9 is actually a good ratio for a daily driver didn't the skyline come with this ratio.
