What about those anti car jacking alarm systems where you must punch in a 4 digit code in order to drive away with the vehicle. Are those any good?

From all the threads I've read about vehicle security, it seems to be that the common consensus is to have an alarm, multilock and gsm / car search type system.

Deciding whether to go with Car search or the GSM alarm systems. Any advice?

BTW, which alarm is best these days? eg. viper model #?

So when you in the mall and get a page that you're car is being tampered with. You come out and see 4-5 persons near your ride..What you going to do? Go all Rambo with guns a blazing?

hmmmm.how about rigging a taser in the driver seat and turn the safety to on whenever you leaving the car.
or for fun, leave it on and leave keys in car> bandit jump in>gets tased>find bandit>beat he MC>tie im up>throw im in the sea. 1bandit less.
