If you are a member of iasca SQ, then you would be directed to rookie and to the sqc class. Open class is for non SQ members, or even guys who are iasca idbl/bass boxing.

any measures to prevent the "pros" building a system for the noob to compete?
i mean yea...we will need help, tips and even tuning help but what about someone completely building a system by the pro...and just come to compete?

it have no measures to prevent that even in the official competition
which is a bit unfair to complete noobs but oh well

its seems unfair to the new guys who do work themselves to be outdone by a pro
cuz they not competing against a new competitor but a professional installer
hence its called ROOKIE in both iasca IDBL and SQI

but if you have the money to pay a pro then nobody stopping you technically u still classed there but oh well

before we start to get down to those details lets get the 1st one over with first

members will not be allowed to compete in this new open class
this is to generate interest amongst those who want to try thier hand at it

however there is the regular sqc class that anyone can compete in

details will be worked out this week on all of this

In case you missed it before, its being judges using the SAME format as the Iasca SQ does.

Sound is judged quite similar for all the classes above rookie.

IMHO, the Rookie score sheet will be used.
