well, i think a boost controller should be the first thing to invest in, I both a manual for $550, i'll install it when i get a chance. increase my boost to about 9,10 psi, see how she pulls after.then maybe some interior adjustments and body job, then after looking to go front mount and then SAFC, and then who knows....

Yes fellas the Volvo TD04HL any thoughts on this with respect to use on a Starlet 4E-FTE or 5E-FTE which I want to use it on vs Just using a regular Subaru TD04L

The compressor inlet is 60mm, its not hard to fit. Its the right shape and the compressor outlet ends up pointing the right way to easily connect to a front mount cooler.

They come with a built-in recirculating dump valve on the top of them which can be removed I think and blanked of with a plate.

The compressor map shows it does not become inefficent until 1.75 bar but I not taking it that far anyway.

The pic shows difference of inlet trumpet size of hybrid CT9 and standard CT9
Enlarged Compressor Inlet Trumpet to a massive 55mm TD04 is even larger at 60mm
Compressor Wheel (Garrett GT type) 39.6mm
