Stinger Roadkill did d job for me. Wasn't hard to apply. My fingers had level cuts after tho. didn't even kno how i was getting it but wen i was finished my whole hand was burnin

noise blocking is a side effect of the sound dampers

but there are actual products from each company that specialise in sound blocking, that contain some level of open or closed cell high density foam

it will be well worth the wait and there will be an atarctive pricing so y rush and buy a product that u will need almost twice as much to even start to compare with second skin d amplifier pro.

look at it this way if u have to apply 2 layers of other dampening mats to achive the same result as 1 layer of second skin d amplifier pro then u will have to end up spending more money on the other mats and installation because to appl the other matts it will take twice as long because it is 2 layers, where as it will take 1/2 the time to apply 1 layer of second skin d amplifier pro and achieve the desired result.

Thanks Racegod... looking to do at least the complete doors, trunk and spare tire cover. Estimated, how much of this do I need to cover a door complete (i.e.) Inside, Outside do you need to cover the inside of the door upholstry as well?

thing with a "door kit" is they only supply u with 1 layer - best way to do ur doors is 1 layer on d entire inner skin of d door + another layer on d outer panel part where d upholstery attaches to , some ppl even double layer d inner part too ...

have read online some ppl take to d extreme using 3 layers inside & 'outside' too ...i havent done that b4 to see d effects but for sure thats gonna be a ton of work , expense & added weight too , 1 or 2 layers max i would do yes ...

2 SS trunk kits (40sq ft) = 1 SS Shop pack (80 sq ft). So you should still be able to do most of your car with 1 layer with 2 trunk kits.
