^^^ About 10 years ago a jourvet band went out of control and broke my front door glass when they were getting on wild.

End up getting a whole door with glass for $20 in the bamboo ...the Door was actually free, but I give a spranga $20. to pull it out of a junkpile

Gotta love a B13

Sorry to hear about your Situation though Banzai

So what will it take for you all to stop going there?

That' the only way the mall management would take notice. That's the only way the tenants will pressure the management about security.

Oh wait... are they NOT pressuring the management because a security presence would mean an increase in rent??

trinis wouldn't take a stand against it and will continue to go there, they may reconsider only when they get robbed.

probably 1 in every 3000 ppl would actually boycott the mall

i must admit i still go there, frequently as a matter of fact, just convienience on my path but i park @ a friend's house literally opposite to the mall and walk

but yes i kno not everyone has this option

*cough*parking*cough*$10*cough**cough* an hour*cough*

excuse me

Paying plenty for a drink and having your car stolen and/or being forced to handover everything on you (probably including your groceries) are completely different things.

Paying the extra price for drinks et al also includes paying for the ambience and the people around you.

Some people don't have a choice but to go there because its physically close to them. If there was another place close or where they could have easy access to all the things they want I (hopefully) doubt they would risk unnecessary loss.

Before there were malls there were small corner convenience stores, and small supermarkets, the large malls put them out business. Besides you can't buy everything from the tantie parlour down the road.

In the modern society shouldn't there be convenience AND security? Places like malls or plazas have been centre point in civilizations dating back to the times of the Mayans (and before)... malls and plazas ain't new, they are cental markets and meeting places...

dont blame HCL fully though, blame the company that owns them,
a big insurance company that made some handsome gambles with people money
HCL themselves under real pressure these days,
their chief architect fire the work, even though HCL owns the architect company and the company's name is his name(TMC) which says a lot about the entire org

pugboy is correct...HCL under rell stress these days...jus now dey might undergo a retrenchment exercise just like bptt cuz of financial issues. Especially, where it comes to spending money to increase security in TCM....wouldn't expect that anytime soon.

What I thinking is UDeCOTT Oropune Gardens. Where the ppl does try to run across the highway by the bend because they didn't built a walk-over for them yet... inspite of all the houses being there...

Oh yeah, don't forget Millennium Parks, or something like that also.
