Messi is like de Lara of football, individually without equal, but forced to share national duty with a bunch of Lame-O's

^ could u imagine lara on a half decent side?
imagine lara coming in with at least 100 on d board?
with some bowlers that could restrict the opposition to less than 300 as a rule rather than execption?

True. I don't care how much skill talent and how strong and optimistic Messi is, he is still human and if the sheit continues he will eventually get discouraged and it will affect his play badly on ARG side.

Right now he is still playing well even in the last WC he played well but didn't score and this is where a lot of people judge him. If people really looked at the games he played at the WC they would have seen in the first game that keeper played the game of his life denying Messi on about 3 good chances.

In the other games Higuain and Tevez benefitted from Messi rebounds. Higuain scored off a rebound from the keeper saving a Messi shot and one time Messi ran through the defense and the shot hit the post and I believe it was Higuain again that got the rebound. One was a Messi lob going to goal and Tevez (offside) headed the lob into the goal. Messi was just a bit unlucky not to have scored but contributed to the rest of the game significantly.

Disappointing away draw again. 7 points behind Madrid now. The way how Barca going with away games it nearly impossible to catch Madrid now. Even though is 18 more games to go in the league Barca not really showing like they could make up that ground.

Mourinho has already said that he is contented to win the league without beating us, and who can blame him. The league trophy is a measure of consistency in the end. But there are enough games left to overhaul the points gap,but Real will have to throw it away IMO.

Bro Fabregas hasnt been playing well for more than a "few" games. Its amazing how that team suffers when Xavi doesnt get going.

Anybody else see that sparkling bit of skill from Puyol running through midfield? The one where he does consecutive 360's

finals here we come

not a bad game, nice to see everybody on the field
but the defence needs to be a little more alert....about 2 or 3 times we got caught out

The attack was great tonight, game was suppose to end differently about 6-0, but still a lot of chances which will always lead to goals!
The defence was better tonight than previous games but work is still to be done. Nonetheless, great result.

Not liking the last few games as it is now becoming a pattern. Despite controlling the games, Messi and others wasting too many chances and the defense getting caught out a bit too much. During the match the commentator said Barca scored 5 goals in their last 4 games. Usually those guys clinical in front goal but they missing real chances this season. This is why they drawing so many games.

The other sides just hitting a long ball over the top and Puyol and others getting caught out giving the sides about 2-3 good chances on goal. A better side would bury those chances and then Barca will have to start fighting really hard to score goals. No big cause for concern yet as Barca still controlling the game and creating chances but they have to start scoring 2-3 goals early in the game to discourage the other sides and start putting away games when they have the chance.

Time to get their act together as they have a lot of ground to make up in the league and Champions League starting back too.

it was good to see Iniesta picking up exactly where he left off. as soon as he came on, it was precision one-twos with Messi inside the box...

(fast fwd to about 4:12 for case in point)

agreed, Messi not clinical in front of goal these past 2 weeks. Cesc sucking big time; dunno why. he getting complacent; time to have him warm a lil bench

Sep trying to integrate alot of the young talent: Dos Santos, Adriano, Tello etc; maybe by force with all the injury woes. but time to bring some defenders to the Camp Nou. i have faith in Puyol, Pique and the rest but they ent gonna be there forever.....
