Anybody that can use pepper spray can use anything in their environment as a weapon. My personal opinion is that it gives a would be victim a false sense of safety,especially for women.I tried stopping a person years ago to tell them that they dropped their wallet and collected pepper spray in my face. Had I been with malicious intent, I could have still functioned to harm the person.

A person's ideal situation when facing an attacker is to flee, even among people that are trained for combat. In these times, environmental awareness is the ultimate form of defense. I seriously hate seeing people blissfully unaware of their surroundings when they are on their phone or have headphones on in public spaces. These are different times we live in

I distinctly recall several years ago, there was a petition started to get the smoothbore part of the air weapons order removed, and a product of inbreeding, whose relative owns a company selling air rifles, among other items, immediately started a petition AGAINST it.

Said same product of inbreeding claimed to have patented the .177 air shotgun. ah nearly dead with laugh with that, as did 99.9% of the airgun using population.

Same said product of inbreeding also had a "course" where you could "get qualified" in using a smoothbore air rifle and be issued a certificate that wasn't worth the ink and paper it was printed on. That buss like a over ripe breadfruit falling from the top of the tree and hitting concrete when I started directing people where to go to get training and practice for free, with people who willing to help them in the sport.

It also had it's tongue so far up a former commissioner of police ass, begging to be in front the cameras with the CoP for press releases, and he was never in the TTPS, so all he could really do is sit down and stfu. I seriously doubt that CoP ever had to wipe his ass.






So, if they didn't want to start the ball rolling by removing a word from the legislation, such a small thing, but easily doable, so that local dealers could no longer gouge the public, what makes you think they willing to support an entirely new piece of legislation that will directly jeopardize their choke hold on the local legal firearms industry?
