wouldna kno nuttin if i didnt see this here, am sure alot of ppl dont know abot this game also. also why are none of the local stations bringing it live. Goes to show we really aint serious about sports in this country. You can only get the ppl to fully support u if they are aware of it. poor marketing ftl. Guess the spotlight is only on the womens u17 wc for the moment. We need to spend some serious $$ and get major corporate sponsorship involved (besides the regulars like bmobile) if we are to get local sports to the state it needs to be in in this country.

In a tense match between Maghreb Fez and FAR Rabat to decide who reaches the quarterfinals of Morocco's Coupe du Trone, they had to go to a penalty shootout to decide a winner. During that shootout, FAR goalkeeper Khalid Askri thought he came up with a big stop and immediately began to celebrate his triumph, turning his back on the goal, patting his chest and kissing his badge in an abundance of pride and dripping self-confidence.

What he didn't see is that the ball had some wicked spin on it and actually bounced back into the goal after his initial block. After some confusion, the referee awarded the goal and Askri's team ended up losing the shootout 7-6.
