Anyone using HIDs in their Sportero? If so what brand and wattage and what are the results like?

I see that AutoCool on Wrightson Road (on the corner of french st. and wrightson road, right next to DigiData systems - they have the AeroKlas brand of drop-in liners available.

Depending on your use, I'd say go for a spray-on liner. I don't really trust the longevity of the drop-ins, after a while they might be liable to lift off the tray surface and allow water to seep in.

Try Kazim Ali - 6807104, he has excellent prices.

hey sportero owners,

i'm gettin a slight knock when turning the steering wheel out fully, however it does not occur evertime. was a bit concerned about it. any ideas on what it may be and hw it may be repaired /corrected?

ps. jerry2008
i got my drop in liner with the chrome hooks on the inside from M. Rampersad on san fernando bypass. can't remember the cost coz it was included in the dealer's package. you can prob check there or autoair on cipero st in south if u like.

a loud knock or soft knock :?:

soft knock could be a ball joint

loud knock can be a steering arm or idler arm

if it is new then have the dealers check it out

W2J do you have Sportero disc pads in stock?

I take it the brakes pads for the 2.5 and 3.2 are the same.

I did a search online and came across the following: "Part number MR389511 was superseded by part number MZ690000."
I'm thinking about ordering some disc pads - MZ690000. It should cost about $800 landed here. If anyone is interested in getting a set, PM me. It should get here at the end of February.

no lurve for the Pajero - they get to play in the Desert only, while the L200 gets to rumble in the jungle in trindad's mountain trails.

So lemme make it official

I upgraded from my 2003 K74T to a 2007 KB8 Sportero auto (Animal in the UK)

couple guys who have me on Facebook like Speedy have already seen her

her name is Teri

got her doing just under 75,000km in pristine condition

Carryboy front bar and motorized GSM tonneau cover (both of which are for sale)

she works like a charm - plenty power that 4M41 DiD makes, plenty power

I have started some maintenance already - took her to DM yesterday for a checkup and oil change

put in Amsoil 15W-40 synthetic oil and OEM filter, changed Diesel filter (OEM) and did an allignment

I also changed the air filter - did not use OEM. went with a Horim Motor filter

paid $75.00 for it
