Read the last paragraph. My take is anger can lead to rage and for someone who harbors such thoughts, it weakens one's ability to think straight and to demonstrate better judgment such as emotional intelligence. In other words, after not realizing what you've done, only after the fact it may dawn on you (feelings of regret etc).

So fella now probably going throw all the emotions in the police holding cell. We all need to be honest and admit inner issues quick before it becomes an action and at that point, it would be too late.
