Perhaps only due to a lag between cases and death. Cases going down but it takes time for deaths to go down as they would have got infected weeks earlier.
Still I feel plenty elderly are anti vax and willing to dead. 12 today.
Other countries have very high vax rates among the elderly like 80% and higher.

The likely culprit is insufficient testing. If the positivity rate is high, there is either very high infection or not enough testing.
The expected maximum positivity rate is about 5%. The testing positivity rate in Trinidad has been above 14% since June.

About 4.5mn people have died thus far as a consequence of COVID-19.
7.5bn × 0.0000078% = 585
Hmmmmmmmmm
matr1x wrote:The percentage is of the total world population killed by covid is 0.06%
But what we are dealing with only a total infection rate of 2.82%
That's pretty low. Then further to that your risk of dying is barely 2.12%
matr1x wrote:Not that difficult. 7.5 billion ppl. Only 213 mil got infected. Of that only 4.4 mil died
Very very low risk

India's deaths are estimated to be well over 2M.
A colleague in India said at one point in his state region they ran out of death certificates and just stopped processing.

matr1x wrote:That just theoretical. Maybe it's being underreported, doesn't mean it is.

Forget the FDA. With the right money they will approve what they want

Look adnj has admitted to insufficient testing by the pnm in order to mask the real covid situation. Testing and tracing is one of the cornerstones of covid response.
