So i got some smartwax products and decided to give it a go on my Jimny. Didn't take any before shots since I was trying to beat the rain. Any way here is a rundown;

Used smartwax SmartCarwash™ followed by SmartWax™ - 100% Pure Carnauba Based Wax & Polish.
I was really amazed by the results and how easy and quick it was to use. Really like that the wax and polish could be used on a wet surface. The products also smell amazing.

Others:

Black Trim & plastics - Smart wax SmartDressing™ (Was also easy to apply, and gave the rubber, plastic and vinyl I used it on a nice supple look without much effort.

Glass - AG Fast Glass (also used on fog lamps)

Tires - Shining Monkey Tire Shine

Headlamps and tail lights - Mothers power plastic for headlights, followed by Meguiars Headlight Protectant.

Looks good. Never liked that "100% carnauba" marketing, but I guess it works.
How long did it take? Did any decontamination before?
The SmartDressing is indeed a nice product. Doesn't leave anything greasy.

Anyone ever shipped in chemical guys products via air?

Why do they say most if not all of their products cannot be shipped internationally?

Everything took me about 2 1/2 hours. I clayed the van about a month and a half ago, and used the shining monkey clean and repair and wax after. Since then the van was probably used about 7 times, all the days being rainy, so it was pretty dirty today when I cleaned it.

Looks like an ad for the vehicle there, aidan.

Kudos orn the headlights also. Hate to see a clean vehicle, with dirty/oxidized lamps....one of my pet peeves.

so.. finally started work on the black car.
AG Shampoo, followed by clay and SRP. Didn't get to apply the Extreme Gloss Protection cuz of time

still seeing small swirls when i hold a light to it. would the sealant have made a difference with them? or do i need to add another step to the mix somewhere?

I clayed my car about 2-3 weeks ago, and applied Wolfgang's 3.0 Sealant.

I now have SRP, EGP and the Pinnacle wax. It is too soon to reclay, and then SRP, EGP and pinnacle?

Or should I just wash, and apple the pinaccle, and when that's woreoff use the EGP.

not a bad start... only had time to clay a few areas, and SRP on the whole thing. when i have time again, will re-clay entire thing, remove swirls, SRP and seal.

Wait na your polo emboridered? nice.

I'll try reclaying it.

What are the long term disadvantages of leaving my car in the hot sun whole day, and outside all night? With proper protection/sealants...any longterm paint issues?

Yes, paint fading.

How would you rate that machine compared to the others you own Karim? PC better?

Yes you can bring Chem guys stuff by air. I've brought cleaners, glazes, foam soap by the gallon... all kinds of stuff without issues. Tax is a little high though.

Neexis, as Aaron said, swirl removal is the step you're missing. If you go for 100% correction you might be able to leave out the SRP step. And no, the sealant would not have helped with that. In fact might have made it worse if anything.
