Although I woulda like to use the EGP then HD wax but I saw Autoglym advise not to do it

Anyone ever tried a synthetic sealant/wax then carnauba ontop of it?

The sealant then wax combo is a common thing. Keep in mind :
1. If you use a very slick sealant it will make it more difficult to apply some waxes. HDwax being one of them.... so choose carefully.. or experiment and hope for the best.
2. Check dem bottles and forums and see what the sealant manufacturer recommends as curing time. Just because it's synthetic doesn't mean you can just drop wax on right after. Some are 30mins, some are 3+hrs.

Yep, when I first used The Megs Endurance in 2008 it use to last really long on the tires and smell really good. I couldn't get over that grape scent.

Check out the Tuf Shine you'll probably never use another gel again.

That tire shine is for cleaning the tires or just apply after you clean them?

For the Tuf Shine, you need to clean your tires properly and get all the old gunk out, then apply a coat. Depending on how much crap you have layered in there you may need to use some APC a couple times well.

I use the Dodo Juice Supernatural tire dressing on my personal vehicle now. It's the best look I've come across and lasts quite long for a liquid. In fact, the worst thing about it is that it's a bit difficult to remove when the time comes.
But it gives that black, almost matte look.. quite right.
If you want something locally, the Autoglym tire dressing is what I use if I run out of the dodo. Doesn't last as long, but spray liquids are just easy to apply.
Gels are always too shiny and more difficult to apply for no real gain.

Don't like shiny tires, makes the vehicle look "ghettoish", then again some people like to put on large chrome rims. I prefer to use 3M Tire Restorer which leaves a matte finish.

I use 303 AP; works well, lasts fairly long if weather permits and does not have a greasy look.

I need to clean the hood in my car (well the upholstery inside), its black with diesel soot.

Already removed it and have it outside the car, looks like a kinda cardboard material under the carpet looking part.

What should I use? Water safe for that?

Spray with autoglym interior shampoo, then vacuum it off, then wipe with a clean microfiber towel

Whats the price of that shampoo like?

Easy as pie to put back up man. All the pillars removed and almost everything from inside the car.
