Nah, you can use the WD40, or kerosene or something. Can also buy products like tar and gum removers if you feel more comfortable with it.

I tinted tail lights a while back and now the tint is baked on and looks like sheit. Can I use anything to remove it? Or just buy new taillights?

I have hears alot of reviews about it both good and not so good.Years ago i wanted to get one , but i just went with a commercial machine. I have never gotten the opportunity to use one so it will be hard for me to say if it can or cannot.

Try it and give us your feedback on it.

Was on sale at bel air so dad picked it up for cleaning the stove and what not but I figured it had to have car cleaning uses, maybe steaming the A/C?

Yeah try it , just be careful not to put to induce to much moisture in the A/C vents as it could lead to problems in the future.

I'm curious as to what they do also. I'm suspecting the average "go git it polished" business. Those tend to be the people that leave the vehicle greasy. I'm not trying to be disrespectful to anyone eh, just saying it's been my observation.

Also if you are using it on a Euro vehicle specifically audi and vw dont use it too much on the roof line my vehicles soon after started to sag. Please don't make my mistake.

So, anyone using car care products as Christmas gifts? Or requesting them as gifts? :)

If you are gifting with them, what type of stuff did you choose? What were your considerations?

I think ease of use and durability should be the priority if you're giving such a gift.. unless it's someone that already knows what they're doing.
