Nah, heard they hiring too, seems a few of the EPC's are in hiring mode as well

them EPC does only spread word about/advertise "vacancy" to stay relevant, and have competition wondering what new work the other get....

WP has Accomodations project/Atlantic engineering (slowing ramping down)
STS/Fluor has Cassia Compression
Massy has bp EPC/Shell FMS
Foster should be wrapping up NGC

It's good to see a lot of these guys moving to the new methanol plant, however some might be somewhat surprised what they might meet up there. The work might be the same but they would have a lot of "assessments" to do as compared to the other company. It's probably on par with Atlantic standards.

If Atlantic "continuous assessment" is anywhere close to BP their in trouble. Because you have to know everything straight down the nuts and bolts of the plant.

Both Foster and WP trying to get the EPC for Petrotrin ULSD as SNC lavalin already has the PMC, supposed to be awarded by November if all goes well

Just waiting for the contract to be drawn up and signed by yours truly which is just a formality. starting next week. it is a 6 month contract initially. don't want to give away too much details. All i am going to say is that it is an inspector position.

What if the MIttal liquidator is just trying to sell off the plant's parts and Nu Iron was interested in purchasing some of them? And if they really are buying the plant, they'd need a new gas contract. Would be interesting to see how that plays out.

So did process operators get through to CGCL as yet? I got a rejection email today. I know it's really competitive so no hard feelings.

rejection x3 here also....nuthin new there......could have all the experience and more for the required job once the inside heads have their own ppl to bring in ,even with minimum qualifications. Have a public unionized company right now that take in a batch of trainees for a program that everyone in Trinidad would like to apply for, but no advertisement was sent out, this is strictly internal and political.
