You wasn't batting for Cornwall previously?
Now Hetmeyer unfit?

Fire Simmons. He cannot coach a T20 or ODI 50 over side to save his life.

Fat and unfit, batting in Shepherd's clothes was the only batsman to make an effort.

1st T20 today
WI vs NZ in Sabina Park 2.30pm for us (1.30pm in Jamaica)

WI continue to show its not really about fans. I see some Jamaicans say they haven't had international T20 cricket for a while (since 2017) and when they do get a match it is put at 1.30 on a workday.

Let me clarify.

The man who the WI board said was fat and unfit was the only one who made runs. Remember how they refused to select Hetmeyer for quite a few games?

WI lucky they won this one, NZ probably went easy on them considering there's a number of players on their team who plays in the CPL coming up in a few weeks time. Nobody shouldn't be happy about this win as the opposition had already won the series by now.

Not a bad effort by the bowlers - NZ 190 all out 45.2 overs

Let's see how the WI bat.

You being VERY generous. I predict they don't even make more than 100.

But looks like the planets have aligned for WI in this match as the NZ bowlers will find it hard gripping the ball with dew and a wet outfield from rain.

When is time for Hope to bat aggressively, he does bat like is test match. Check how slowly be batted in the game against India where he made a century.

This game he could have batted slowly and bat through the innings because it's a low total but he decide to bat like it's a T20.

If he's our most accomplished ODI batsman and he so clueless then I eh know nah.

Correct!
With Lewis looking unlikely to make the World Cup squad, we'll need an opener as both King and Mayers have been inconsistent.
Hope is already our top ODI batsmen so he knows his place safe in that squad, regardless if he fails in this series.

John Campbell's anti-doping hearing with JADCO started yesterday

He may have been in the ODI squad otherwise.
