one thing ppl not talking abt is the knee injury he had and how he was rushed back to play in the WC, since then he hasnt been the same player

for the sake of a really terrific striker and the sport as a whole, i hope this is a psychological roadblock more than anything else.

i believe it is and the english media is the devil. i think that once he is supplied with the right midfield players who understand his movements, and he scores that first goal then he will regain his touch. i'm longing to see him and benayoun bring to chelsea the partnership they formed at anfield.

the way i see it, right now chelsea simply has too many players. Drogba, kalou, anelka, torres, sturridge, borini, and kakuta in attack. how is the manager supposed to keep everyone happy? not to mention Terry, iva, bosingwa, cole, alex, fereirra, luiz, van aanholt and bruma in defence. essien, mikel, lampard, malouda, benayoun, ramires, mceachran, zhirkov in the middle.

i believe its more psychological than anything else.... if it was injury related one would notice, but its whole demeanor, runs into the box, giving up on plays easily, and general overall ferocity and attacking nature. I would gladly accept suarez and carroll over torres not because they are more skillful because theyre not, but simply because of the tenacity and 100% effort. Perfect example - Javier Hernandez who i believe is the main reason where man u are at this juncture of the season. he has been the x- factor.

i kno manu started the season poorly but with the amount pts chelsea dropped during their slump arsenal, man city or spurs (i left out liverpool bcuz they're currently rebuilding) should have ran away with the title. it shows that those 3 arent mentally strong/confident to believe they can win the league
