guise, my right side mirror not closing :(

an idiot had hit me and shattered the glass awhile a back but it was working up until yesterday........what do i do? Can i get it fixed or would i have to change the entire thing?

Also the driver's side door lock not opening and closing with the alarm remote, i have to use the key.......would that have anything to do with it?

I bought an actuator(was recommended) but the door doesn't carry that part!!

help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mitsu chic most times the gears have have been stripped if you can hear the motor moving but the window doesnt come in you may be able to get it fixed. If cant hear anyting best bet is to change it.

With the door is it only your driver door or all the doors that doesnt close with remote?
Does your driver door open and close all your doors when you manually do it?
Is the alarm still engaging?
Mine was giving trouble just last week,i cleaned out the door switch(on body of the car) and made sure the ground was screwed in tight, have no more problems.
If its just the driver side it could be the door circuit is not gettin proper ground,if it is affecting all the doors the unit may be gone or need servicing.
I believe brotherhood and biggs have serviced there front door actuators already successfully.

I hear the motor on and off with the window but not even a budge.

All the doors don't open if the driver side doesn't open, sometimes it opens(rarely) with the remote. The alarm is not affected, it engages.....its just if i press unlock the alarm turns off but the door lock doesn't open, i have to use the key.....same as when i engage the alarm. All the doors operate by the drivers side, opens and closes with the main lock so if it doesn't unlock none of the doors do.

Just had to change my actuator on drive door
There are two type so scrap your door and see which u have cause they are not interchangeable
You can't use aftermkt actuators as the door look is a cable and an actuator cannot hook up to it
The more common actuator is the rod on top the cable type that goes to inside door handle
The other which is basically the other way is a bit more hard to find.

As for the door mirror, the plastic attachment to the glass is broken and if all pieces are present you can plastic weld them up and if not maybe something can be fabbed or an all out replace may be needed.

the door doesn't carry the common actuator, its the cable type.

will carry it to check out both problems, hope it can be fixed/changed without any problem.

before you go scraping you door and purchasing a new acutator try the door switch.
If you can manually open all doors with key then the actuator may not be bad because it is still functioning as it was intending too.The fact that it doesnt open with the alarm states its not getting the signal from the alarm brain to open the doors.
1.Open you door and look for a door switch it shud be on the body of the car (closer to the end of the door and shud be facing you. It is usally black and can be depressed.this is responsible for the door light on ip)
2.There shud be one screw holding it down to the body of the car
remove it
3.make sure the jack is good and it doesnt look burnt, make sure you can depress the switch easy(if not take out rubber black cap on it and spray the metal connector with wd40 or electronic cleaner)
4.Mount it back onto body of car and make sure it is secured tight to make proper ground.
5.Check alarm
If not try servicing the motor, buying shud be you last option when all else fails.

as nissan4life said, it can be repaired.

I took mine to an electrician and he sorted me out WRT to the door. He did just what the guys here are saying.

Ok.

this morning my b/f tried a thing and it was opening and closing almost but it kept sticking, thankfully the motor was running so it wouldn't have to be changed.

Good. That saves you from having to buy an entire mirror with motor.

You keep your car very clean
