1:00 PM - An isolated severe thunderstorm is moving northward along western coastal Trinidad, producing frequent lightning (upwards of 100 strikes within 5 minutes), damaging wind gusts, and violent rainfall rates.

Heavy rainfall is forecast to affect areas north of Freeport to the East-West Corridor, generally west of Arima.

Elsewhere, hot and sunny conditions are ongoing, with showers and isolated thunderstorms likely to form along western and hilly areas of Trinidad, with activity moving northward through the afternoon.
