Was thinking that I would have to since it was not working this morning, for me nor several others that I asked but I just checked & it is working now, 4G speeds and all.

Ok we got 4g to work on post paid. Had to call though and request it. Stayed on the phone holding for 25mins for an operator. Anyone successful with Internet tethering ie hotsport with iPhone 4 on bmobile.

Got the plan activated after going into the front office to no avail, calling 4 different times probably spent an hour listening to that horrible waiting tune. And now it's activated on my line but I see no 3G emblem yet and speeds are slightly faster on edge. Anyone know the coverage area yet?


iPhones won't be able to tether unless jailbroken thanks to bmobile blocking it via carrier bundle.

the after that was a constant .5 with test..

seems they throttling, but it works well for browsing and even vid chats...

Didnt try. Using it on a htc vivid. Not cuttkng the sim for my S3 either. The hotspot app is only crashing on the htc...even with digi. Will try it in my co workers s2 later

We tested it on our ipad and iPhone with digi and it works. With bmobile it doesn't which suggest that it's disabled. Any engineers in here could help with this because the csr think its Greek we talking when we call on this feature.

Bmobile has it disabled, they did so when they launched the iPhone and the only reason digicel has it available is because they're not an official iPhone carrier and therefore the phone uses a universal bundle which allows the hotspot settings to be inputted. You don't need an engineer to tell you that.

Anyone know how the 4g plans are affecting BIS? Do you need to pay for BIS separately? Or just the 4g?
