family and finances dont mix. you can consider the bank or island finance or a private lender. bank may be the safest choice though

Unsecured with republic is 11.5% atm

anything with credit union is (their advertised rate)*12
So if your credit union say 1.5% is really 18%. Run the numbers, i made a thread on it

Thanks for the assistance. I got through with Caribbean Finance Company Ltd. If anyone is in need of a small loan you all should check there. Got a 15k loan approved in one day.

possible small cost overruns. & if there aren't any of those he could just add it to/start a savings or invest in something that yields a return.
