I wanna know if my car has weak springs. I find that the car can't really take much load. When the car has 4 passengers the back basically on the floor. The back wheels are really far up in the wheel well. Is this normal? I find other cars don't really go that low with passengers.

The back will sag when the bushings gone through also.

cheap mod is to cut a pair of front springs (bout 3-4 coils) and fit them to the back shock or, get coils.

Guys, I'm looking into installing a CK 4G93 SOHC into my VRG to replace the original engine. Was thinking about reinstalling a tiptronic transmission (mine is slipping) but getting differing info from the people at the foreign used yards. Some saying that the tip tranny can bolt onto the SOHC and work fine. Others saying that the GDI has separate ECUs for engine and tranny while the SOHC has only one ECU for both so it won't work. If I use the SOHC engine and tranny will it bolt up directly?

Have any of you ever done this particular engine swap on the VRG or have info on this that you can share? I'm also wondering about the mounts, axels, electrical, etc. Same thing here, some saying mounts different.

Just fraid I end up in trouble with the GDI.
BTW if I do go back original, should I look for the green or blue sticker on fuel pump? Which is newer or better?

Blue sticker is newer if my memory is correct.
Off hand I know the green sticker is adjustable but is harder to find.

Thanks. Ideally I would go with a 6a12/6a13 but very hard to find. 6a13tt is another option but don't think I want to do all that conversion plus less fuel economy plus premium/water methanol. Not sure what to do
