I'm confused as to why you doing these things yo. A little research will go a long way.

DOT 5 fluid is NOT compatible with the DOT 3 Y12 system!!!!! If you don't want your brake system to fail, flush immediately and refill to DOT 4. You definitely need to get a competent mechanic who can advise you properly.

If your system had the 9.5" rotor, an option would be to use the 5429 caliper (if you didn't already have it) with a slotted 10" rotor at about $320 a side (maintaining the 6" hub) - carry your old rotor before you buy.

The steel braided lines you can get made by Trinidad Hose...you just have to walk with your old lines to use as a reference, because they need to confirm the types and sizes of the fittings.

Akebono ProAct is a very good OEM replacement pad, possibly the best aftermarket option. How much the pads selling for for a set now?

I ordered these off amazon, i took a gamble and ordered it as it was for the 2010 versa in america
and it worked when i had a nissan note some time ago...pads were exact

for the y12 wingroad /ad while the pad frame is exact line up, the amt of stopping material in terms of surface area is slightly less than the stock pads

I saw where akebono had less pad material for some applications which again confirmed by yourself. The Raybestos EHT had as much as stock. I will be getting those when I need pads.

Akebono sold locally, which may work out a lil cheaper than ordering but I don't know.

I find akebonos last LONG, like serious long if you not in a performance application, so I wouldnt fret too hard about slightly less pad wear material.
Great pads either way
