I blame kubs for the delays. Doh cater for the cost as I use the road almost daily for work. Save me on tyres, time, suspension, fuel etc etc... and open up deep south to people from tong. CANNOT WAIT!!!

The name of that bridge is Ally's Creek, and work has started a few months now...piling is completed and they have already started on the next phase of the bridge, sometimes it may seem like no work is ongoing but when certain works are completed (concrete pouring) they have to give it 28 days to cure to ensure that they achieve the design concrete compressive strength.

While work might be ongoing the fact that for almost a year the bridge hasnt been reconstructed is significant while considering the normal timeline for construction. It is a source of major traffic delays in that area and causes traffic in La Romain too. The new bridge over Goodineau is far more complexed and it start later and is far more along than this one in Ally's Creek. If you are say we need a year to build a bridge over a 10m span of water God help us.

zoom rader wrote:^^^ PNM Ppl think otherwise and say project behind time with cost overruns.
The project is behind and it does have cost overruns no doubt about it. But the shoe is on the other foot now because UNC used to hay over projects in the last admin and their cost overruns. The h'way spans both govts, I just want a reduction in traffic.

so then why did the CB Flyover have a landslide as well?

or did OAS build it as well?

Landslide in San Francique awhile now, not a word in the media. Two in a row actually.

Pipe burst by Bhola Hardware on Charlie King Junction Fyzabad, road closed from the junction till dollar value and nothing in the media.

it was an issue of extraordinary rainfall...as we see in the aged CB Flyover..not the Propaganda, Hype and Hot Air the PNM were promoting!

   @ PNM logic and voters

According to the govt, it wasn't an issue of settling and compaction, it was because still after a year the appropriate drainage was not done yet.

Be informed UML

Please note UML: http://nidco.co.tt/new/index.php/news/n ... ortin.html

I quote
"Preliminary assessments indicate that this was caused by water seeping into the bottom of the embankment due to incomplete concrete drains in the area. Although the highway segment has been opened to the public, drainage works are still in progress"

Settling and compaction?!...allyuh will lie when the facts already out in the open. Defend at all cost even the indefensible.

Yup, that's why.

Fyzo had no water for a few days too. Cobo attack meh by the waterfront Wednesday.

Now they let traffic come further up and either go over the hill to come reach the junction or pass through easy street.

Nope, that is charlie king junction fyzabad. Right before the Butler statue coming from siparia.
That's bholas hardware there.

This road still good. San francique to penal, is only a matter of time before the road cave away entirely and the media get involved for the rest of Trinidad and the donkeys in charge to know what taking place.

When you come down the hill from the station and turn left to hear siparia, its around that corner. You passing the statue.

If you coming from siparia, its before the junction and statue on the right hand side.

They have since fixed it after working through the night for a few days. They have condemned that stretch of pipe and bypassed the area using a second line on the other side of the road.

Yes, with some craters on the western side.

Meanwhile in dehli road:

Some inconsiderate kun+$ decide its appropriate to not have a drain and drain their sh!+ water among other water into the road till it damages it.
Reg corp paved it recently and they allowed their sh!+ water to venture into the roadway again. The whole of dehli road must not only be inconvenienced by their inconsiderate attitude attributing to these craters but must drive through their sh!+ water.
Not to say counciller don't know about it eh, he lives on the trace on the left and I did bring it to the mofo attention.
Instead he put humps for cars to pass slow where baby guntas play on the road and grown up ones smoketh their weed.

allyuh sad to trust anything this government says after all the corruption. i suppose you were soothed by the proclamations in the address. you think they will stand on a podium and speak about things in a way that notably shows them at fault? oil went 10x but tt dollar purchasing power was reduced. so much for this generation's boom years. some people get 2.

Inspector? Nobody knows who dealing with what.

R**n still handling this area or another inspector?

Lotto place outside Kokeram trace? I really find there kinda eff up but it not as horrid as here.

Was supposed to come down grant trace to take pics of the highway progress. These trucks mashing up Dehli road and grant trace proper. By the time the highway finish thats all we have to drive on.
