You should use the recommended size. A 100 is way to big if a surge occurs your amp will blow before the fuse

Just fo shiz and giggles, post some pics of the amp, actual model and the manual.
The manual is not always correct. My cuz got a powered sub for his car as a birthday gift and the manual has something completely different. I downloaded the manual online and same thing.

Edit:

From what I dig up the hybrid series do double the power they should be doing with rated fuse.

Refer to foulplay post here:

Who is the dealer for this product and can they shed some light on the technology incorporated that throws our " P=IV x efficiency " equation out the window?

Iv had this amp almost a year now. It's American bass, Rodney is the dealer.. iv used the amp as test dummy to try many subs, played all @ 1 ohm great, reason for the 100A fuse is because the power line is shared to a nano tarantula amp with 50A current draw so the both amps add up to 90A. System pretty compact & versatile for small current draw running on stock alt & battery in my van.. :)

I'd recommend you get a fused distribution block and fuse the amps separately at their recommended rating.

so... anyone used the ms-a5001 from JBL or the nvx? I am contemplating buying another amp. What I have waiting for an install are two JBL A4001 four channel amps and a JBL p1222 sub. I really like that the nvx is smaller than the JBL. taking everything into consideration, what would you go for; an all JBL or all NVX amp setup? The jbls are more powerful of course.

Yup using a 3000eq sound digital atm..

Had a 600.4 and 400.2 nano in my wingroad at a point also..

Haven't had issues with any amps from sound digital so far when i needed rated clean power for small $$. Tho i prefer them for bass than my mid/highs...

Do not want to make a new ched so i'll ask here.

If I want sq bass, what would be the best option for me?

A 2 channel or a monoblock?

Are there any differences in the bass quality? considering dampening factor and such.

Some claim you can hear differences between classes. Average joe like you and I may not be able to.
I'd say go with what you feel like for bass. I usually prefer a class d mono for ease of wiring.
