I'm trying to set up a BIS plan on a Q10..but the plan doesn't work at all and I'm assuming it's due to the APN being greyed out and hence stuck. It's stuck on "bbweb" and well the carrier is digicel. The phone is unlocked and I'm wondering if there's anyway to change the apn and get a normal BIS account to function? Thanks for any help in advance

Digicel is having some apn issues, my Q10 used to work on it then stopped, i not sure what going on with them but it's definitely the network, they supposed to issue a OTA update to fix the issue just like bmobile did when they had the same problem

Oh okay.. If I take the phone into Digicel itself would any of the technicians be able to do anything though? If you know that is.


I called and the girl said it's supposed to be able to edit and if not its problem with the phone.. Obviously to get me off the phone.

What sort of data plan do you have on it? BIS or a just a data plan?

i think its a BIS plan with some sort of 4g data with it (post paid), i remember when i first got my q10 way before digicel and tstt launched locally i was trying a pre paid sim to get it done but it kept saying incompatible device so i put the sim into a bb 9810, activated a 4g plan and then put the sim into the q10 and it worked perfect with the same bbweb apn, after i realize it was working then i changed my post paid plan to that one and i never got a problem since

Yeah that's the same message I'm getting when I'm trying activate it as well.. And I tried my friend's b mobile sim from his z10 and it still doesn't work. I'll give that a shot though. Thanks man

i tried a tstt sim in mine before tstt launched the q10 and no matter what plan i activated it never worked, Khafra told me it was because at that time tstt didnt support the q10's 10.1 so thats y i ended up putting my digicel sim in it, just get somebody who has a 4g compatible device like a 9360,9810,9790,9900 etc and activate the plan in their device and then put the sim in ur phone and u good to go

Hey, I've been having a problem that I've tried all sorts of troubleshooting for. Two of my BBM contacts cannot message me, they keep getting a red x but I can message them, it shows as D but never shows R - anyone had a similar problem and found a solution?
So far I've deleted/re-added, wiped and reinstalled

i saw that happening with a guy with a z10, he deleted them and it still happened, they deleted him and then it started to work fine, not sure if that would help

We tried it both ways, I deleted and he deleted - I guess we'll try again? It's really annoying and there aren't really any solutions online

Having both the Z10 and the Q10, i am totally in love with the Q10, although the screen is smaller than the Z10, it has better battery life, very very good keyboard, better 4G antenna and a more premium feel to it

Guys, anytime I try connecting to whatsapp via wifi my 9320 won't, I just have the little clock notif at the Side of my message. The Internet browser works but whatsapp won't connect


I tried restarting, rebooting, resending host tables etc. anyone else experienced this or knows what I could do?

I know Bmobile having some issues thats why i asked, I am not sure if the BBOS whatsapp client has options to choose if to use BIS or TCP for data, but that's the first thing i would check

My 9790 no matter what I do keeps saying "unavailable for this device" for almost all apps in app world, including bbm. Tried reloading a newer version of 7.1..security wipe on the newer OS.. All kinda crap and nothing. It came from Digicel, I unlocked it..but I'm still using a digicel sim. Any ideas why this is happening?

I was in TSTT San Fernando today. Haven't been there in years, place change up.
Anyway, I asked the feller there if they have the Q10. He said they have the Z10. He also said that they never got the Q10 at that branch and don't know if they will get.

the update was released for the Q10 only so far, forgot to mention that, I haven't gotten it for my Z10 as yet
