They recently got a fleet of Camaros and BMW 5 series.....will try and post some pics when next I see them on Sheik Zayed Road ...the speed limit here on the freeway is 120km but the radars set to trigger at 135km ..so driving between 120 to 135kph is normal.

Up to two years ago the speed limit on the freeway was 160kph ...the police need to keep up...is fellas with porche, ferrari, corvette etc they have to be chasing...

thing is, i was in downtown dubai for two days, and never saw a police vehicle......i guess petty crime is not a big issue there.......maybe a lot of mafia and racketeering which would not really justify a large public police presence.
