Hope lessons are learnt from this

Chelsea didnt seem to take the game seriously and looked ill prepared to deal with Falcao...paid the price for that, masterclass in counter attacking from Atletico

Build up was far too slow and the midfield was completely overrun...each time they broke forward they had a man over :S

poor defensive display..prefer they learn that lesson in this game than in EPL or later in CL..back to the drawing board.

It doesn't matter in this case, chelsea is a naturally weak team as can be seen with their trophy count.

Chelsea came to Monaco 4-1 reason... To get raped by Falcao... ^_^

Falcao caused so much Hazard that he deserves more than a Oscar for the Mata! XD

^ He's pretty much the only option in that holding role now that Essien and Meireles gone. Ramires hasnt shown that he can play that role effectively...Romeu looked decent in spells last season but he still green

Draw was a fair result I feel...can see Juventus reaching far this year, they are a strong team

Also would like to see Sturridge given an opportunity at the expense of Torres

Sturridge was out due to a hamstring strain...but I think RDM would play Mata before him in place of Fernando.

Meireles was really starting to look the part in midfield with Essien and they both left...just goes to show why I no longer buy kits with the player name on the back.

Romeu has potential but he tends to lose concentration after a while and I don’t think (as you said) he’s ready to play a full 90 right about now.

defense was poor today.
shaktar had too many easy chances on goal ,and we were punished.
