- Why hasn't Mr. DOLCHARAN SIRJU owner of VASHA FOODS of FREEPORT, to whom the CONTAINER was consigned, been arrested and carted away yet , as per Nelson Street 21, under the "gang Legislation' passed???
It seems the police only look to advantage the small man and quick to publicize them but when the big business men get caught they hide it why is that??

Ganja in suitcases
By CECILY ASSON Friday, September 16 2011
Two sisters who arrived in Trinidad from New York on Tuesday got the shock of their lives when on arriving at their Ste Madeleine home, opened their luggage and discovered a pouch containing $55,000 worth of compressed marijuana.
The suitcase was unlocked, police said.
The matter was immediately reported to the Ste Madeleine Police Station, and investigators are now searching for a man who posed as a security guard at the Piarco International Airport, and attempted to retrieve the luggage from the women. He accused them of carrying an illegal substance.
The marijuana which was found in a green and yellow pouch weighed two kilos, police said.
The sisters aged 30 and 32 of Friendship Village in Ste Madeleine came home to attend the funeral of a relative.
They are expected to return to their New York home today.
According to a police report, at about 6.50 am on Tuesday, the sisters boarded a flight from John F Kennedy Airport in New York to Trinidad. There was a three-hour stop over in Jamaica where they boarded another airplane and touched down in Piarco at about 4.30 pm, police said.
The women told police while waiting to be met they were approached by a man who identified himself as a security guard. He told them their luggage contained an illegal substance. They ignored him and went home only to discover the marijuana hidden in the pouch in their suitcase. They contacted police.
PC Elbourne is investigating.
