Man knocked down infront Tunapuna Market, PBR

Happened a little before 9AM this morning. Government Toyota Crown (with coat of arms plates) driven by a uniformed police officer heading east collided with the man sending him into the air. He then collided with a maxi westbound (Mitsubishi Rosa) and ended up under the said maxi.

Unsure if the man was alive, but at the amount of blood and how he was thrown about, highly unlikely any chance of survival. Didn't get a chance to take out the N95 and take pics tho. Judging by the people, they were quick to come down on the officer. By the time I reached Curepe, several police vehicles were on their way to the site of the accident.

The damage was done to the right hand corner of the crown with a head imprint on the windshield.

man will be found to be illegally crossing the bus route and apparantly just rish infront of the car

driver will proclaim he had right of way

everything else will be covered up

well it have a zebra crossing area around there, if the man was within the area there is a possibility that the driver would be held accountable, and if not then the pedistrian to be blamed.

the president's car could be on the PBR, is if the driver was sppeding or driving recklessly. Cause i roll with stretcherz driver sometimes and some of those other miltary vehicles drive like arseholes on the PBR

but then again...ppl does wanna run across by tunapuna and san juan like real bumcees sometimes...

saw it this morning too while heading to work...i surprise at that dent on the car though....that had to be one hard hit and that man bones had to marsh up...sad though!

The driver of the 'president's car' over take ah line of traffic, the pedestrian was crossing on the zebra crossing and the car hit him....

He was trown into the air, and fell and slid under the 25 seater maxi.

that road is a 3 lane?
overtaking equal 2, and maxi moving in the opposite direction as well.

You have to be mad..... the shoulder does not count as ah third lane pal.... it had maxis dropping off passengers, maxis/cars going east and this a$$hole want to over take.....

3 lanes..... hmmmmmm :roll:

Ohh also that accident happened around 7am and the body of the man was not removed till some time after 12....

The driver of the president car, nearly get ah cutarse of he life, soon as residents/passers by pull him out, pow pow padners reach and save he kant!

One on-looker even shouted out 'boi u is a ded man, we know where u livin'
