just by a daily scrub.....a toner........and a moisturiser (sp?)

somebody also told me about Dr. Bassanta.
yeah but you plan on doing that for the rest of yuh life.just take a aloe vera leaf and make a drink out of it.you'll get a couple break outs from drinking because it cleans the body.drink plenty of water, eat lots of garlic and onions because they naturally clean your body, and it will go away after a month or two.I had it and its gone, now i don't have any skin problems.

lol like ulyuh doe read d book dem does give yuh free with Proactiv? lol it hadda do with the dead cells as well....

we also hadda take into account the face that ppl are different, for instance, Clean and Clear f'ed up my acne, also exfoliac, but
i used proactiv and i got great results, within a couple weeks my skin got better, i stopped using it now but i think i should have continued. You must use a sun block with at least a SPF30 (i used spf 45) non-oily and hypo-allergenic and stuff once u using any solution contain benzoyl peroxide...

some of my padnas used proactiv and it did nothing... What i noticed too, is that when i started to use it, my face was feeling a bit wierd got i got accustomed to it and it started to work...

Of course, they said in the book that chocolate and other "oily" stuff doesnt directly affect acne, but they did mention about having a good diet and exercising in your daily routine (i still have to implement that).

I would like to believe also that it could be what was stated above that your body is just acting up against toxins...

At the end of the day is your decision, and what works best for you! The best bet is going to a doctor if you believe its serious and do a clean out, which is good. But go by a trustworthy doctor, some of them just out deh to make a good raise on yuh!

Good luck

shagadelic99tt, wat does cuase buttons too is wen the poers get plugged. are you in a dusty environmet on a daily basis? you might not notice the dust in the air blowing too.

I used to get it back wen i used to work at the garage, I started washing my face regulr with soap, squeezy etc, anything to get the sweat off my face (the dust stick to the sweat). wen i started washing my face on a regular basis I stopped gettin buttons etc.

also the amount of water you drink, you hav to remember if you ar in a hot environment you will loose water through sweat so you will hav to excees the recommend consumption amout.

I eh kno bout the wat you eat scene though, i does eat anything & everything but I doh make it a habit to eat plenty junk. i does eat healthy most of the time.

cleaning your face with a napking or cloth with some rubbing alcohol everynow & then can help too (the drinking of the alco is up to you)

use vicco ..

its a a cleanser, sunblock everything in one.....

and wash your as often as you cam...like every hour if u could..with soap..

drink plenty water....

proactiv isnt for our climate...so u need to stay out of sun if using that..

test your skin...most people react adversely to either salycic acid or benzyl peroxide...find out which one works for u and use products with it.

and stress causes acne....so doh let trinituner stress yuh out

elbowsfromabove wrote:acne is cause by the liver. The liver eliminates 1/4 of its toxins through the skin.If you consume to much toxins more toxins would come through you skin.Using products on your skin is just going to delay the process and plus a lot of those things have tons of chemicals and they only damage your skin more in the long run.Everything on your skin is controlled by your liver,if you eat to much crap then the amount of toxins increase, meaning more acne comes out on your skin.Drink plenty of water and eat right and you'll get over it. :)

Best advice in this thread....also wash your face more often...keep the pores clear

crossdrilled wrote:Proactive...Neutragenia come out wit one too, but I doh have experience with that. PPl in my family with real bad acne use proactive and it work so if anybody know anything better, it will be nice to know.

proactive is not for sensitive skin
the best ting is to go to a dermatologist, i use differin gel
i recommend khemdaye basdeo maharaj, she does glycolic treatments (i couldnt do it cuz my skin way too sensitive) and microderabrasion

foss recommend dr basanta, i went by him but he has a standard treatment for everybody which didnt work for me, yea an he loves to give u EES as somebody else said, bottles an bottles of the damn ting

rolandk says dr bisram mahabir --- he still has the combover? he didnt help me either, he gives a blue pill called apodoxy, waste of time an d combover was distracting

some ppl say wash yuh face often that actually irritates acne, wash with a gentle cleanser, u should really see a derm tho
i use cetaphil cleanser (gentle)

but shagadelic99tt ent u start taking some ting to build muscles?
that sheit iz make u break out bad bad

khemdaye have 3 locations (doh ask me to remember the days an times call for that info)
st helena 669-5719 saturdays
st augustine 663-0380
woodbrook 625-0156

imo she is d best, i think she works pos general as well
she have microdermabrasion, glycolic treatments, laser treatments
my skin couldnt do any of those but she listens to the patient and works on their concerns
she hates that i go for facials tho, she prefers i use differin (less traumatic to the skin)
she cleared up my acne in 6mths
