how allyuh really feel the scene wudda play out with stuart step daughter if it was anyone else besides GG
I could only guffaw at this.
A strong pr team can really skewer public perception.
Anyone who belongs to a particular organization will always be biased towards same.I have never heard Gary, Williams, Sandra or even Joanne Archie speak anything concerning the numerous shortcomings of the service and it's officers. I wouldn't choose anyone from any service as a cop. I also would avoid anyone from the public service as there is a culture in there that isn't conducive to productivity. I would choose one of the independent criminologists who did actual research and studies into the police service and it's shortcomings. The cop is an administrator first and foremost so a 'gun man' or ' bad man' isn't necessary
We had foreigners and we had locals , failure on both ends ...how do we move forward ?alfa wrote:hover11 wrote:In before men mention Gibbs and ewatski who were foreigners and had nothing to do with the service culturealfa wrote:Phone Surgeon wrote:Who's the best option for COP???rollingstock wrote:Phone Surgeon wrote:Gary is the kinda man that if he find Rowley or any high level political person in racket, in power or not,

Those were the guys who tried to change the culture but couldn't handle the backlash. They claimed Trinidad policing at the time was similar to Canada in the 60s. I think we're still in the 60s

It has been confirmed that 19 civilian contract workers with the police service (TTPS) have had their contracts terminated. The workers were hired by former police commissioner Gary Griffith, who is describing the move as blatant political interference in the service.

A man applied for an FUL 3 years ago, went through the process, and provided all that was required. To date, no FUL, and no mention or response about it after hr made multiple queries on it's status.
Same man applied for a dealers license 6 months ago. He again provided all the requested information. He got a call, and after being visited by and speaking with an officer he was told that he could get his dealers license and import license in less than a month.
Question
Why do you think that there was such a significant difference in response time for one (that should be more tightly controlled), and not the other?
It have an answer, and I know some of you know what it is.
Whoever gets the answer right wins a prize.
They get paid out the remainder of there contracts with perks.Dizzy28 wrote:So fire means this is thier last month pay or do they get paid out the remainder of thier contracts.
Given that with GG gone they wouldn't have gotten a renewal this isn't bad if they are paid out.

Our entire police service and the security of the country by a man who was doing a fantastic job being compromised by the same said mans reaction towards the Prime minister, whats really important to our government then? the safety of the entire country against criminals or the fact that the COP refused to give in to politics and was supposedly rude to our pm?
False red pride is really our f()cking doom...

1. To wait for 3 years, then the man is a nobody.
2. Same man got frustrated and paid the processing fees.
Don’t tell me no money didn’t pass.
Details on prize collection please.
