Tuners I'm looking for the v6 engine and transmission combo for the 2001 GLS Sonata.

Is anyone scrapping a 2001 model or perhaps know where I can check?

I found a v6 setup, but at 14k its kinda priced out of my range.

I'm now considering an engine/tranny swap. I have looked at the 4g63/4 which are impossible (or very difficult in the least) to get. I was also looking into the 6a13 as well (again hard to get). Was also looking at the 4g93t-gdi.

I have now shifted to looking at the Nissan vq23 from the Teana as well as the Primera QR20 also the sr20 neo vvl. I have seen a few of the Benz face sonatas with sr20 installs so i know it can be done. The car will be a daily driver.

what would you guys suggest i look at as i consider?
