You should be able to get new shocks at Gobin's Auto in St. Augustine.
I got a re-manufactured a/c compressor for a 1996 Accent at Ryanair. It wasn't cheap, but it was cheaper than a new universal compressor which would have needed some brackets fabricated to allow installation.
With respect to springs, I am not sure where you can get new ones locally other than at N&M. I also don't know where you could get used springs. Unless you just want to have a car on the road, I would advise against used springs, but that's just my opinion.
What happened to the car? Accident? I had an Accent for 10 years and never had cause to change the springs.

N&M only has the back springs....$400.00 for 1
Have you checked the a/c to see if the system has any leaks? How do you know it's the compressor? Sometimes, it could be an electrical problem with a relay that may prevent the compressor from engaging.
When I changed the shocks in my Accent, I purchased OEM shocks from N&M. At the time I bought them, a set of four only cost about $200 more than what substitute shocks cost on the outside.
