Don't know if anyone experienced a problem like this:
KIA Sorento Power steering getting hard to turn and eventually making noise when turning (singing noise) coming from pump.
I have never run the fluid low, it never leaked fluid either.
The power steering fluid was flushed but still this did not help.
I understood that a common problem is the steering coupling but I'm not sure this is the case.
The steering was getting tight or stiff at the beginning occasionally and now it is majority of times.
It only eases up at when the rpm increases.
The system was flushed with fluid and the reservoir bottle washed out.
I'm checking the firm, they believe it could be the coupling but they have neither the coupling nor the pump in stock.
Anyone had a similar issue with their 2010-11 Sorento?
