haha, yeah i was heading home from movie towne.

I must say the white is easier to keep clean than the black was.

Filled the tyres with nitrogen from quick service on Wednesday, decided to try it and see if i get a little smoother ride, and it has improved a bit so i'll stick with it.

Have you felt any difference with the tranny and brakes?

Transmission is a lot more responsive than the 4-speed in the previous sedan. I haven't really maxed the transmission out yet, just doing daily driving keeping my RPM below 4000 (as suggested by manufactures for the first 1000KM) so after that i'll really test it out

Breaks are significantly better i must say, those rear disc make a huge difference, I'm seeing the latest Cerato 4dr Sedans have rear disc as well now (PCW series) so that's a plus for those who are going for the sedan.

zaak, congrats on the new ride. Tell me, is this the same 130ps engine found in the elantra? Does the Koup feel any faster than your sedan of yore?

I am honestly not sure if it's the same engine and i've never driven the elantra before so can't say if the engine is similar in any way. Koup actually accelerates faster (at least it feels like it does with the 6spd) but the top speed is about the same.

Note: Those paddle shifters are quite addictive

4 speed tranny seems smoother though... 6 speed runs at lower revs which makes it a bit quieter and more economical.

Super gas ftw in this one.

It was worst in the sedan, trust me. Use to get a mixture of AC & heat when driving sometimes :|

Koup is not as bad.

According to the owner's manual, premium is recommended but super can be used.

I'll be sticking with Premium. I talked to my sales rep and he said SS recommended to stick with the premium if you can, however you can use the super.
I just real funny about my vehicle and i prefer to stick with the "best" there is to offer in TnT.

I've cut down on my "mash outs" and high speed runs and tomorrow will make it a week I'm doing San Juan- POS runs back n forth in traffic along with some Maraval runs on the odd evening and the fuel hasn't even reached 3/4 tank.

Half tank top-ups use to cost me about $100-110, i guess now they gonna cost around $160.

TOTALLY FED UP WITH KIA CERATO KOUP & SOUTHERN SALES

wonoderin if n e 1 else has similar issues...

love the kia koup. goes a nice lil 180. however.....

- it always goes to the left. after align etc. ( i heard 2 others agree with this)
- tires need to change and its only been a year, 30,000km.
- service is terrible. (they charged $125 to change the fuse for the cigarrette lighter. shudda buy my own $5 fuse n do it myself
- cant afford premium. super takes max $130 from E. and the speed isnt so hott....
- cup holder is always hot
- a/c doesnt cool so well, had to change d filter again

fed up with southern sales.... ready to sell....

so much potential down d drain yes

- tires need to change and its only been a year, 30,000km.- Did you rotate every 5000 KM?
- service is terrible. (they charged $125 to change the fuse for the cigarrette lighter. shudda buy my own $5 fuse n do it myself- Yep, same thing happened to me with my last Cerato sedan to change the house light bulb
- cant afford premium. super takes max $130 from E. and the speed isnt so hott...- Same here
- cup holder is always hot- Generally the centre console is warm, especially after long drives
- a/c doesnt cool so well, had to change d filter again- Never happened with the last cerato nor the current one

Never had the first issue...
I need to change my tyres currently for the first time...at 41000 km
Never had to change the fuse...service has been reasonable thus far at POS
Super takes me 110max to fill from gas light..
Strangely do not have this cup holder issue you and another complained about...same temp as elsewhere...
My a/c still cools well with no problems...never had to change the filter...

My koup is now more 2 yrs old btw...
