Drag & Wind #7 is almost upon us….. Sunday 26th August at ARC Car Park.
And our Briefing Meeting is carded for Wednesday 22nd Aug. at MOSPORTT, Frederick Settlement at 7:00pm.
Those who have provided us with their emails would have received our listing of Points-to-date in each Class. And as usual should there be any query on your points please let us know so this can be checked and corrected where necessary. Already from the points-standing we see a pattern of those who are consistent, and those who are serious about this competition have ensured that they collected the easy points, and then went on to really drive to the best of their ability and earned top-four championship points to now be in a comfortable lead.
But please do not forget that we are only counting eight of the ten staged events, to determine winners. If there is any tie, the standard procedure is to check who would have had the most amount of wins, then 2nd place etc.
We are glad to have Tuner Imports as one of our regular Sponsors and now welcome Monster from this Event.
In competition we very well may see some new competition at the top in Class 4A where Clive Sugden reigns supreme. Ronnie S. may be back with Kiran always a threat. Clive has registered two straight wins at the top in Class 4A and also two fastest-car—of-the-day. But Ruddy Beekee and Kirk Ho Hing have registered 3 successive wins in Class 1A and 2B respectively.
And good to see some first-time winners in 1B Shaun Mohammed, Stefan Ragoo in 3A, Anthony Mannette in 3B, and Randall Renwick in 4B with Samuel Weekes registering the Best Reaction time of 0.007. Remember we have done some upgrades on the system and the reaction time now starts from 0.000!
The leaders in Classes are:
1A – Ruddy Beekee 510, closely followed by Aqeeb Ali 470
1B – Steven Hosein 590, followed by Neil Gopeesingh 380
2A – Daryl Ali 640, followed by David Lyons 570
2B – Kirk Ho Hing 640 way ahead of Anil Mack 250
3A – Devi Nath 630 and not far behind Dirk Bailey 510
3B – Devon Bartolomew 420 with Denniston Smith on 310
4A - Clive Sugden 670 with Kerry Phillip and Kevon Ramjohn tied on 450
4B – Khayam Ali and Alistair Rahamut tied on 420 and not too far behind Troy Sooknanan and Barry Mykoo also tied on 290.
Who knows what surprises may be in store this time around?
