Rawle you're not bad on TV . Was that Jameer Ali next to you on today's Morning Edition ? He spoke of teaching university level young persons about safety in race vehicles vs ordinary saloons . Mention was also made of the Seaboard Marine Caribbean Circuit Championship to be hosted at Wallerfield in June 2015. One can only hope for a better surface .

It is finally good to see the associations working together toward similar endeavours for the benefit of the sport.

The heads seem to be on the same page, now we would hope someday soon the rest will follow ?

Rawle, how does the competitor list look so far ?

^^ ran 8.99 looked impressive. Boostfactory Sylvia ran 8.4. Medicine man was going to run after but the rains came and messed that up.

Good work by Autosport. Tomorrow will be gooooood.

Great prep work by Sparky and his team. Track bite was sticky for men on slicks and quite a number of drivetrain parts were broken on a few cars

A very big kudos to the Autosport Team for a job well done this weekend.
i saw a lot of racers who i haven't seen since wallerfield days.

The competition ran smoothly, the officials, clean up crew, etc were on point.
there wasn't a long line up to get to the starting grid, noone was jumping the line to run, bikers were kept in check....

Rawle and Team well done!!

Brief comment for now.
Thanks to all who made this Event possible.
Thanks to our Sponsors, and the major one still wishes to be low key.
Thanks to all of the competitors who made the event the success it was.
Thanks to Sparky and crew, for the "Product", that is his/their commitment to a properly prepared track, that is a continuing work in progress. And apologies to all who suffered mechanical failure because the track was so professionally prepared.
We were actually complimented by the Senior Fire Service Officer for the control and discipline in the manner in which the Event was conducted.
Thanks to Rae for his professional and informative commentary for the entire day.
Thanks to all of the AutoSport Team and Marshalls who came out to assist in the running of the competition.
Finally our prayers were answered when we were blessed with a full day of racing with good weather,
and a safe day of racing for all involved.

Sorry, at this time we cannot answer that million dollar question!

there's some mouth flapping online about sketchy gate prices for this event, any truth to this?

it seems persons were charged $180 per person, plus an additional $40 to park inside. (on Sunday).
was the $100 meant for stands only? was there a separate 'pit access' charge?

one allegation floating is that the gate attendant was pocketing off patrons entry fees.

The empty vessels are doing what they do best...
Autosport deal with this and don't start 2015 with a bad name.

From what I heard it was 140 + 40 for parking so 180 car and driver.. a bit steep in my opinion.

when i spoke to rawle on saturday, it was $100 for bleachers and access to pit was limited to racers and their crew to avoid crowding. The same for parking inside, twas only for those with passes.
i personally was pleased with the way the event was run, noone was perfect but it was a lot smoother than other events i have been to.
One thing that i was happy about was people not jumping the line especially bikers.

BUT our culture is one of such, we beyotch about everything.

I was charged $100 per adult for entry and $40 for parking.
I was also advised that due to my son being with me (4yrs old) I would not be allowed to walk through the pits.

I have no problem with the above.

Great event.

I was told by the gate $100 to go in the stands an if i want to park inside i can pay an additional $40 an walk back out to the standa.i was then told $180 to access the pits an park inside as well.prices were a bit harsh IMO ,i believe this is the most any club has charged at a camden event. Some ppl claimed to have paid $180 plus $40 to park inside earlier on in the day.

We note the comments that suggest excessive charges by AutoSport for patrons at our Event on Sunday.
First we did indicate that patrons would pay $100.00, Kids $20.00.
It is common that for entry into the pit area there is an additional charge of $40.00. This was explained to those who chose to come in the main gate, some after paying the $100.00 at the smaller entrance by the gravel road.
In addition, if one wanted to park on the inside where we had additional security, drivers were informed that this would be a charge of $40.00. This is common at all AutoSport Event at ARC.

To suggest that we were charging $180.00 per patron is erroneous.

And if anyone can prove this did happen, and bring back their ticket stub and wrist band, we would gladly refund your money.

Today is thursday you really feel ppl would have their bands and stubs?come on ...this is the best responce? Next event you all are having my suggestion is advertise entry cost for pit and outside so people would know.
