GEAR UP!!!
Sat 9th March
Caratal Gr3
Want to enter via Light Bourne at 7:00pm so u guys can org with ur associates and come up or anyone who knows d area can meet me at the jcn.
Pls have proper pulling equipment >>> rope/ straps with eyes on the ends for quick and easy attaching. NOTE cargo strapping hooks are not appropriate and can make a lethal object if it fails.
Also seek to ensure proper towing attachments onto chassis (will be nice if identified)>>> attaching straps onto springs are time consuming and can damage straps/ropes. Pintles are not designed for attaching straps/ropes for pulling.
Anyone with Qs or concerns can call me @ 374-6263 (Z)

It was done, and got out early with d help of good spotters....
The terrain presented exactly what i was expecting....dried out ground leaving behind deep tractor wheel trenches where one wld have to keep straddling the ridges. Two rigs assisted by able spotters successfully made it out b 4 midnight and safely home.
More pics soon....
