Folks the time has come for us to have some fun in the mud once again, some have done upgrades and have not yet been able to fully test their capabilities, some are doing, and some not doing anything further...

Side B has an action packed itinerary for 2012, but in order to facilitate this we need to have a meeting and have "a lil chit chat", enforce some ground rules, and voice some opinions, also share some info on future potential runs....

Proposed date: Sunday Jan 29th 2012

Location : Lopinot forest to Las Cuevas beach to Maracas bay to get lunch
(bake + shark) and back to Tyrico bay to eat, relax, chat and cool down...

remember when i bought the KL71s, it was straight from the tire shop we went lopinot and brasso, they took some battle scars eh, but that does nothing to them, MTs design are far stronger than their soft compounds make them out to be.......

I only had to engage 4x4 once last time..

We'll do a scouting run closer to the day just to make sure the trail in lopinot is safe, esp for the guys on street-tyres.

If not, we'll just blast all the way to cuevas through santa-cruz instead.... more time for mud, I say!

guys, i went 2 lopinot yesterday (sunday 15). the trail is fair, the fallen trees have been cleared, the hills as u start the trail is in tact the only splippery spot is by the farm but one can choose 2 test one's articulation and cross the small drains.

the landslip before morne la croix is bad. i made it through, i kept my rhs wheels rubbing on the mountain wall. however, if the road works begin the road will be impassable.

las cuevas is not bad.

it real bad... the pits are over 24ins deep and the rots after the pits by the trees as you get closer to the beach are bad. after this,the terrain is easy to the beach.

got 4 mud terrain tyres mounted on 16'' rims,giving the chromes a rest.
