@markymark - last time we had a 4x2 hilux that got stuck at the first part/entrance to the trail - but once we pull him out, he made it all the way with us, up to where we had to turn around to do approacing inclement weather.

So, no fear bro, unless the trail is wet (then it's 4x4 only!)

of course the 24's are welcome man!

Once ur tyres are good - morne diablo is a lot rougher than santa flora though - same type of soil/mud... but the terrain itself is rougher (lots of ruts and mounds to climb/navigate)

Last time we went it was dry, and most of us had no problems climbing and navigating over the ruts (it's all about choosing the best path and being a smart driver) - but the 24's will definitely give you a height advantage (i.e. less bottoming out on high mounds).

We gonna scout the trail soon and report back our findings.

There are two paths.. One leads back out to the Morne Diablo beach facility and the 2nd is a small trail that dead ends.. and you walk to the beach..

If anyone has GPS, we should be able to find the tracks easier.. Civic, you needed again with the GPS!

Might scout this trail soon and report in detail on the trail conditions.

Last time we hit the trail, we had to turn around due to heavy rainclouds bearing down on us. Didnt want to get stuck in that trail with vehicles that were mostly on stock tyres and regular all terrains - would've been a nightmare to get out.

Now, we've been doing some upgrading, and most of us have much mor aggressive tyres - so i think we're mostly ready to tackle that trail even if its a bit wet.

We'll see after we scout the trail.

But rotated came with us in Santa Flora, that was real epic mud and clay!
And the 24's made it through without much trouble, so he earn he stripes!
