3stage I think that would be a short term fix.
Can you put up some pics of the fix.
Did you reinforce the plate to protect against lateral forces on the weld.
Come Sunday we will do some fracture mechanics testing on it.....

^^ 3stage - good job on the fix, but it should be temporary and not permanent - let's at least reinforce that plate! (cuz of all the places we go and forces we put on the suspension).


Rutless tiida - i was thinking of putting in the 100W bulbs, but I fraid that it melt the harness. That happened to me once, put 100W bulbs in a 55/65W headlight bulb and the harness melted.

it was reinforced with a small lip that was welded across it.
